The Problem

Smoking is no longer considered polite or acceptable behavior. Smoking makes clothes, furnishings and people smell of stale tobacco.

Smokers are disadvantaged in airplanes, restaurants, trains, busses, hotels and many other public places. Smoking is a bad role model for children. Ask any smoker if they would encourage their own children to smoke. the fact is your children are doing it indirectly via passive smoking.

The health issues associated with smoking should be generally well known as there are clear warnings of the danger of using tobacco products on packaging; these are the most important reasons for becoming a non-smoker.

However, think about the cost. A person smoking 20 cigarettes a day will spend more than £1600 a year. This is serious money to burn!. Many people also find the smell of cigarettes very offensive.

In the workplace smoking accounts for more days off sick and smokers are twice as likely to have accidents. One mega corporation has saved in excess of 10 million dollars from smoking cessation programs for its employees.
